Sin embargo, estas instalaciones se enfrentan a numerosos retos, como las duras condiciones ambientales, la tensi\u00f3n mec\u00e1nica y la corrosi\u00f3n. Las estructuras tradicionales de acero u hormig\u00f3n suelen requerir un mantenimiento frecuente, lo que se traduce en elevados costes y tiempos de inactividad.
